565 steps today - in mock crocs with no socks. Not much walking - and no new blisters.
Hmm... I feel a poem coming on!
Mock crocks without her socks
Counting steps and watching clocks
...Walking helps with writer's block.
Hoping hard that Valtrex rocks!
Okay, that's over!
Now, for the nuts part. I've signed on to do a 5k walk on May 2. An ubertest. Possibly overly ambitious. Details tomorrow!
Thanks for posting your Valtrex journey! I finally got up the courage to make an appointment with my doctor and discuss. I have signed up to run a 5k in September - so I'm REALLY hoping this works!

Hi Kerri!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for reading and posting! Please let me know how it goes for you. What type of EB do you have? Are you going to document results as well? If this proves even a *slightly* effective treatment, I would love to get the attention of more people and share positive or negative results.
*hugs* to you!
I never thought about documenting this but I guess I should. In fact it would be crazy not to! I have the exact same type of EBS you have - hands and feet. People never understand why I don't like summertime. Hopefully this summer will be different! My mom, one sister and one brother also suffer from EBS and I've told them about your blog too. (I just found it today!) Best of luck to us! :)
ReplyDeleteBest of luck indeed! I hope we all have positive results!
ReplyDeleteLet me know if there is any information I could share that would be helpful for your family. :) I'm looking forward to hearing about your experiences!
